Hi, my name is Jody

I am so glad you are here, as long as I can remember I have loved crystals. The origins of this business started as a teenager when I would create beaded necklaces, bracelets and anklets and sell them on a sarong at the beach.

“Love what you create, create what you love”

I was born in Brisbane but years later I moved to Sydney and I decided I would follow my dreams so when I saw that a master goldsmith from Switzerland offered tuition I enrolled and finally fulfilled my dream of making “real jewellery”. I studied under him for over ten years perfecting my craft. Developing my own unique style and making the pieces of my dreams that I truly love. I moved back to Brisbane in 2016 and am currently based there though I feel like I have two homes.

For years I would just make pieces for myself that I loved and people would stop me in the street and ask me where I got them. My friends would constantly tell me I should sell them but I resisted. 

Until one day I decided I can share my gift with the world and do the things I love, and so Mineral Love was born. Consisting of one-off uniquely handcrafted pieces lovingly made within my studio complementing each crystal’s unique shape. Each stone has unique energetic properties, I hope you love them as much as I do!
